Monza has exceptional spring dead spot tolerance. Spring dead spot is a fungal disease and one of the most devastating diseases of bermudagrass. These soil-dwelling fungi damage the roots, rhizomes and stolons by completing rotting these plant parts. These fungi are most active at infecting the turfgrass during moist fall conditions when the soil temperature is below 21 C, and they will continue damaging the turfgrass until the soil temperature drop below 10 C. Infections will then resume the following spring as the soil warms again. With Monza, you are guaranteed a healthy turf.
